wisewomen and wiseadvisory were started by Jill Wilberforce and Nicky Boustred, two professionally qualified women, who through their own experiences, recognised a need for practical and accessible information and assistance to people on financial issues in a supportive environment, both in their personal and business lives.

Many financial institutions cater to people passively and do not fulfil their needs for a hands-on service. wisewomen and wiseadvisory are independent organisations which promote active engagement with financial affairs at a grassroots level through education, one-on-one coaching and financial advice. In addition, wisewomen provides reliable, affordable advice to entrepreneurs and business owners.
